Industrias Guerra, a company specialized in forestry and marine lifting machinery, has been awarded the 2024 SME of the Year Award by the Chamber of Commerce of Pontevedra, Vigo, and Vilagarcía de Arousa, and Banco Santander, in collaboration with the Chamber of Spain and FARO DE VIGO.

This recognition highlights the company’s more than 70-year trajectory, pioneer in the production of cranes and machinery. After expanding to nearly forty countries and having a presence on five continents, the company continues to generate a significant economic and social impact in Vila de Cruces and the Comarca do Deza, where its production centers have been located since its founding.

The award aims to recognize the performance of small and medium-sized enterprises in the province of Pontevedra, whose activity is fundamental for the creation of wealth and employment. Industrias Guerra has demonstrated a constant commitment to innovation and quality, which has allowed it to remain at the forefront in both the forestry and marine sectors.

In addition to the 2024 SME of the Year Award in Pontevedra, honorable mentions were also awarded to Peter Taboada in Internationalization, Gaictech in Innovation and Digitalization, Central Lechera Gallega in Training and Employment, and Afamsa in Sustainable Business.

Industrias Guerra will now compete for the 2024 National SME of the Year Award, a competition that recognizes the work and effort of small and medium-sized enterprises at the national level. The decision for the National Award will be announced in the first quarter of next year, 2025.
